Range operator is used to create arrays sequential of letters and digits. It generates the list of values, starts with a given number, and incremented by 1 until the end value is matched.

The operator symbol is ..

my @numbers = (1..5);

print "@numbers";

Output: 1 2 3 4 5

Similarly, you can create a range of letters.

my @letters = (A..D);
my @letters1 = (a..d);

print "@letters\n";
print "@letters1\n";

Output:

A B C D
a b c d
